LAS VEGAS - Incoming Rebel freshman Daniel Cruz, who recently played for UNLV head coach Mario Sanchez on the West Region Under 17-boys team in Italy, was a member of the USA's soccer squad that recently competed in the Pan American Games and finished with a 2-3 record. Cruz was featured in a video interview on ESPN.com prior to one of two matches against Mexico.
