Joao started his professional playing career at age 15 with world famous SL Benfica of Portugal, completed 518 games as a professional at the highest level, played for the Portuguese MNT and won a Portuguese National Championship with Benfica. Over the past 8 years Joao, certified by the Portuguese Soccer Federation, has coached and run youth academy programs in Europe and here in Phoenix producing multiple professional players. Or bring completed form to the player's first session. All participants receive a t-shirt which they will use for each session. Session 3 Tryout Date – Saturday June 26th It is recommended to attend as many of the tryout sessions as possible. Our Desert Elite Program is designed for players who are interested in enhancing their soccer skills and playing at the highest level. Desert Elite soccer focuses on Player Development, Teamwork and Sportsmanship and has been one of the fastest growing soccer programs in the valley. For all those interested in competitive soccer but not ready to commit to the highest level, the Desert Elite Program will also offer Developmental teams in divisions where there is sufficient interest, who will also receive professional training.
